DESCRIPTION:Oratrice : Xenia Dimitrakopoulou (Aix-Marseille Université) \n\n\n\nTitre : Anticyclotomic p -adic L-functions for U(n) x U(n+1) \n\n\n\nRésumé : In this talk\, I will explain how p-adically interpolating the branching law for the spherical pair allows us to construct a p-adic L-function attached to Coleman families of cohomological automorphic representations of U(n) x U(n+1). Using the recent proof of the unitary Gan–Gross–Prasad conjecture\, I will demonstrate that this p-adic L-function interpolates the square root of the central critical L-value\, including anticyclotomic variation.

Key themes include Serre’s modularity conjectures\, the study of (some) Shimura varieties in positive characteristic\, modular forms and associated mathematical structures\, like the stack of G-zips. DESCRIPTION:Orateur : Jinhe Ye (University of Oxford) \n\n\n\nTitre : Finiteness of tropical functions on skeleta \n\n\n\nRésumé : Skeleta are piecewise-linear subsets of Berkovich spaces that occur naturally in a number of contexts. We will present a general finiteness result\, obtained in collaboration with A. Ducros and E. Hrushovski and F. Loeser\, about the ordered abelian group of tropical functions on skeleta of Berkovich analytifications of algebraic varieties. The proof uses the stable completion of an algebraic variety\, a model theoretic version of analytification previously developed by Hrushovski and Loeser.
